WIPocalypse

Well time to start thinking about unrealistic projects that I cannot finish for next year. I have joined WIPocalypse in the hope that I can get some stability with my stitching (yes I know, never going to happen you say) but with only one finish this year there is progess to be had, so this is my 2012 list with the hope of some new starts and finishes

Queen of Hearts by Rachel Anderson - HAED (I have some frogging to do on this one first)

Jane Austen Sampler

Snowflake QS by Selina Fenech - HAED

Tears of Yesterday by Zindy S D Nielsen - HAED

Christmas Memories - Just Nan

BBD & Workbasket Freebie - Sweet Alabama
(New start)

I'm sure I'll have plenty more to add to the list as the year progresses, I definitely want to add some more non HAED designs but I would like to get at least one WIP finished first.

Finally a Happy Dance !!!!!

Here it is finally finished, I cannot tell you how pleased I am to finish this one I can honestly say the chart will be going in the bin and that I officially hate Anchor threads, which will also be going in the bin. They are just awful for knotting because the lettering was 1 over 1 the strand just kept knotting with every stitch I probably would have finishes the lettering two days ago had I not spent so much time undoing knots.

Now for my next project I think I am going to work on my HAED SK SAL for a week and then move onto some Christmas stitching.

Here is a before pic of my HAED

Snowflake WIP

Well I have pulled this one out of the bottom of the pile with encouragement from my dear friend Hazel. I forgot what hard going these can be this is my progress for tonight I am going to try and stitch her at least once a month

Before

And After not much to show but my theory is progress is progress and if I can see her growing just a little maybe it will help me along

If anyone can tell exactly which bits I have stitched I'll send them a little prize. (Apart from Hazel as I've already told her lol)

Snowflake Returns

I have decided to get Snowflake back out I was enjoying stitching her but put her down to stitch Blackstone Fantasy Garden she is only 1 full page and 3 small pages, so shes definitely achievable, I thought if I did the 3 small pages and then I'll only have 1 last page to work from, she's much easier to stitch since I got my new Q-Snap frame as I don't need to move her now it's just the right size to show the whole stitching area, I've been off sick from work since the middle of Sept 06 with an infected toe but I go back tomorrow so my stitching time will be cut down, but I'm looking forward to going back I've been sitting in the house too long now, here is my last update of her before I put her away
